How to do it
- Stand facing a wall, about one arm's length away.
- Place your palms flat on the wall at shoulder height, a little wider than your shoulders.
- Keep your body in one straight line from head to heels.
- Bend your elbows and slowly bring your chest towards the wall.
- Push the wall away to straighten your arms and return to the start.
Breathing: Breathe in as you move towards the wall, breathe out as you push away.
How much to start with: 2–3 sets × 10–15 reps
❌ Common mistakes
- Letting your hips sag or stick out behind you.
- Flaring your elbows straight out to the sides — keep them at a slight angle (about 45°) from your body.
- Dropping your head forward.
⚠️ Safety
- Wear shoes or stand on a non-slip floor so your feet don't slide.
