About us
Hello! I'm Rohit Trivedi — an IT professional by work, and a regular gym-goer like you.
Why SahiKasrat?
When I started going to the gym, the hardest part was knowing which exercise to do, how, and how much. Most information online was in English, full of difficult words, or made for gyms abroad. Many people feel shy asking a trainer, and many cannot afford a gym or a personal trainer at all.
That is why I built SahiKasrat (सही कसरत — "the right exercise"), so anyone — in a village or a city, man or woman — can learn on their phone, in their own language:
- how many ways there are to train one muscle,
- which way fits them — at home or in the gym, with or without equipment,
- and how to do it safely.
What we are — and what we are not
I am not a doctor or a certified fitness trainer. I am a technology person who wants to make trustworthy information simple and easy to reach. So:
- We only add common, well-known exercises.
- Every exercise is checked against trusted fitness sources and written in our own words.
- We are getting every exercise reviewed by a certified trainer. Exercises still waiting for review are clearly marked.
- We do not give advice about illness, injury or diet — please see a doctor for that.
You can help
This website is at an early stage. If something looks wrong, is hard to understand, or you want a new muscle or exercise — please tell us. Every suggestion makes it better.
