How to do it
- Set the seat height so the handles are level with the middle of your chest. Choose a light weight.
- Sit with your back flat against the pad, feet flat on the floor, and hold the handles.
- Push the handles forward until your arms are almost straight (don't lock your elbows).
- Slowly bring the handles back until you feel a gentle stretch in your chest — don't let the weight plates touch down.
Breathing: Breathe out as you push, breathe in as you bring the handles back.
How much to start with: 2–3 sets × 10–12 reps
❌ Common mistakes
- Setting the seat too high or too low.
- Lifting your back off the pad as you push.
- Pushing with a jerk.
⚠️ Safety
- Ask the gym staff or a trainer to help you set the seat and weight the first time.
