How to do it

  1. Set the cable pulley at the bottom and attach a straight bar. Choose a light weight.
  2. Face the machine. Grip the bar at shoulder width, palms facing down.
  3. Keeping your elbows tucked against your sides, curl the bar up towards your shoulders.
  4. Lower slowly until your arms are straight.

Breathing: Breathe out as you lift, breathe in as you lower.

How much to start with: 2–3 sets × 10–12 reps

❌ Common mistakes

  • Letting your wrists droop — keep them straight.
  • Swinging your body to lift.

⚠️ Safety

  • Ask the gym staff or a trainer to help you set the pulley and weight the first time.
